At Wyoming Machinery Company, we believe that safety is everyone’s business.
As a company, we have focused on creating a safety culture, encouraging every employee to become an advocate for safety in all aspects of our operation. We have witnessed our employees’ dedication to not only their own safety, but that of others as well.
Regardless of how effective our safety efforts have proven to be, we have made a commitment to continual improvement. Our daily goal is to keep our people and the environment in which they work safe and healthy. That's why every person at every work site makes safety awareness their number one priority.
In recent years, we have implemented a number of initiatives to ensure the safety of all employees, including:
- Development of a Safety Emergency Response Team (SERT), made up of volunteers throughout the company that serve the company as both first responders to injuries as well as safety advocates in the workplace.
- Creation of a Confined Space Rescue Team, complete with a portable trailer containing all necessary equipment for on-site confined space entry.
- Mandatory First Aid / CPR training for every manager and supervisor throughout all company locations.
- Expansion of our in-house safety training efforts, including certified OSHA 10 and 30 and MSHA trainers.
- SDS Form
These types of initiatives, as well as the efforts of every single employee, have allowed Wyoming Machinery Company to become established as one of the leaders in our industry. In 2014, we were awarded the Governor’s Safety Award for Large Employers for the state of Wyoming. Contact a member of the safety team to learn more today!
